He Came with the RainThe girl had been staring into the rain for at least ten minutes now. Dark purple eyes were focused clearly on the driveway. Her blond hair was pulled up into a pony tail. Tawny fur covered ears were listening to the sound of rain hitting the roof and for the subtle purring sound of her brother's car. He always came with the rain. She knew that. She sighed chewing on her lip lightly before she saw his car drive up into the driveway. She let out a squeal and jumped off of the chair and to the door. She opened it and stood on the steps, rain plastering her hair into her eyes.
